Christine Allado is a renowned international talent making a name for herself as a uniquely proficient artist on screen and stage with a voice that fuses her Classical Soprano roots with a contemporary spin of Pop, Musical Theatre and Jazz.
Christine most recently starred in Hamilton: An American Musical in London’s West End playing the dual role of Peggy Schuyler and Maria Reynolds and as Eliza Schuyler in some performances.
Christine received two nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a Musical by the WhatsOnStage Awards – London’s leading theatre awarding body voted for by the audiences – and by the IARA Awards (International Achievement Recognition Awards). She was awarded and dubbed an Associate of the Royal Academy of Music – an honor bestowed onto artists who have, with their body of work, made a significant contribution to their field.
Christine has recently sung at the Royal Variety Performance held at the London Palladium Theatre for members of British royalty and broadcast on ITV. She will soon be appearing in a Dreamworks Animation Series on Netflix playing a sassy and jolly opera-singing cow called “Cow Who Jumps Over the Moon”. She sings the leading role of “Constance” on a newly released original cast recording of the Clockmakers Daughter from London’s West End available on iTunes and Google Play.
Christine has regularly toured with the world’s most beloved tenor, Andrea Bocelli since 2016 as his headlining pop guest artist for the 'Cinema' and 'Si' arena tours around Europe and Asia.
Christine previously starred in the Olivier Award winning musical IN THE HEIGHTS at the King's Cross theatre, as Maria in the BBC production of the 60th Anniversary of West Side Story.
Christine led the original cast of Wasted as Anne Bronte, a rock musical about the literary Bronte family at the West Yorkshire Playhouse, played Ursula in SWEET CHARITY at the Royal Exchange Theatre, and played the title role of Turandot in Tete a Tete opera’s production of Turandot: reimagined.
Christine headlined Magic Of The Musicals at the Royal Albert Hall for Magic.fm, broadcast live and streamed worldwide. Performed at the prestigious Oliver Awards held at the Royal Opera House and then at the Royal Albert Hall the following year. She was a semi-finalist on Britain's Got Talent in 2016 on ITV with epic four piece girl band Zyrah Rose. Zyrah Rose was previously signed to Decca and Universal Records and have released 4 singles that have all hit No. 1 on the iTunes charts.
Christine previous credits include Phantom Of The Opera as Christine Daea (Burnham Stage), Here Lies Love understudying Imelda Marcos (National Theatre), From Here To Eternity understudying Lorene (Shaftesbury Theatre), Beyond The Fence as Girlie (Arts Theatre).
Christine holds an MA and Associateship in Music and Theatre from the Royal Academy Of Music.
